Wavetable is a reactive sculptural work, - an instrument of sorts - exploring the intersection of cymatics and acousmatics—where sound becomes visible while its source remains uncertain. The sculpture functions as both instrument and environment, capable of being activated by other musicians during their performance. Rather than demonstrating technology, the work treats synthesized sound as a contemplative field of physical interaction. Sound is experienced as a physical agency, emphasizing listening and performance as embodied, relational acts through which memory, atmosphere, and space co-produce meaning and wonder.
